The school “Taoba” has been functioning since 2001.To bring up future generations the founder and director Omar Mikeladze gathered skillful teachers’team and before long school “Taoba” occupied honoured place in the educational space of our town.The school “Taoba” serves to bring up future generation,to develop among children the sense of kindness and desire to get education.To deepen theorical knowledge and to use it in practice ,the school has physics,chemistry,biology,anatomy and informatics labs.
Foreign languages as German and English are taught at school.
There is a gym at school where are held different kinds of competitions in mini football,basketball and volleyball.
At school is also the club for pupils wishing to study Georgian National Dance.
The school has adapted surroundings and conditions for disabled people.
In addition to educational process,the school initiates many original ideas.School conferences must be also emphasized.
The students actively and successfully participate in different activities such as school,regional and republic olympiades.Great attention is paid to deepen the love of reading among pupils, at school are also held school competitions in writing,translating work of foreign authers.Pupils are greatly interested in intellectual games such as”What?Where?When?”,”Brain Ring” ,”Quick-witted and Cheerful”and so on.
Many debates and discussions are held at school.
The pupils organize the plays.
Adiitional lessons for pupils start in the afternoon,in which pupils can reinforce their knowledge.Studio-kindergarden “Fabulin”is functioning at school,where the children of preschool age can develop their knowledge with different entertaining and educational programs.
The pupils publish the newspaper “The Taoba”,in which there are articles about school life and about many other different facts and events.
235 pupils study at school nowadays and 40 teachers teach them.
99 % pupils of our school successfully enter different universities and high schools!
Approximately 70 % of pupils get State Grants.(The government pays full or the part of their fee for university)
58% of pupils get Gold Medals.(this means that they have the highest marks in every subject).
